The Challenge

The challenge is how we celebrate the friendship of two people with exciting and sentimental video, which makes users should feel connected to each other and celebrate the anniversary of becoming friends.

 

Emotional Take-Away

Users should be able to feel a personal and emotional bond. The video has to touch the sense of reminiscence, nostalgia but also joy and fun at the same time.

 

Audience

The target audience is 27.4 billion Facebook users, specifically, we nailed down to 13-17 olds of teenagers.

 
 

We created three different style frames. Later, we decided to develop Direction 2. A bunch of vintage frames and retro design elements from Direction 2 has the potential which stimulates a sense of nostalgia and sentimentality

Developing Style Frames

1) We changed the frames from the picture frame to the polaroid frame to make the design simpler. Also, the different designs and sizes of polaroid frames make the video more fun and rich.

 

2) Also, we explored fonts and decided to use a bold, sans-serif font. Because we wanted impact to catch the attention and also bold font built sophisticated and modern feeling, which is to avoid too old-school design.

 

3) Finally, we properly placed vintage and grunge textures throughout the screen that help create the overall sentimental mood of the video.
